My partner and I have adopted a mini lop rabbit that was six years old and have never been spayed. We were aware that the older the rabbit the less successful anesthesia is however the vet told us that they were confident and have a lot of experience spaying young and older rabbits. Spaying a rabbit costs £69 and this included a pre-op before operating on our rabbit then the operation was done on the same day, early in the morning at about 11am and they monitored her throughout the day and pro-actively letting us know of our rabbit's condition. You can then pick up your rabbit on the same day in the evening if they are healthy. As part of the package our rabbit was given pain killers and shown how to administer it and how often. We have been given a post-op which is booked for 3-5days after the operation. If there are any issues the head nurse has reassured us that all we have to do is call and they will book a sooner appointment to see our rabbit.

We saw the Avian vet with our parrot. The vet was very thorough and explained things to us very clearly and gave good advice The reception staff and nurses were very good. Consultation was three times what we pay back home in Birmingham but thought the service was very good. Thank you all at Sandholes.

Very busy but worth waiting. Great care at a reasonable price. The German vet is superb and the nurses are lovely as well.

We took our cat in who had just turned up after having been missing for 2 months. The staff were very caring we didn't wait long at all. The vet gave her a full check up. Thankfully there was nothing wrong with her other than being a bit thin. The vet gave her some flea treatment and we only had to pay £15. Would highly recommend this vet .
